Every month since March of 2017 PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds  2 breaks the new records. The biggest gaming media simply can’t explain this phenomenon. 10 million gamers don’t have to explain anything – they just like playing PUBG. This number is not a joke. The sales of the game have really sky rocketed in August of 2017 making the game the best among Steam’s bestsellers. The most hilarious thing is that this indie multiplayer shooter has not even been released yet.

This modest multiplayer shooter that is still under the development marches around the planet. In just six months after the release PUBG outreached the popularity of all Steam’s leading titles, including CS: GO, Dota 2, Hearthstone, and LoL.  The only record PUBG has not yet managed to break is beating the absolute Steam record that belongs to Dota 2 – in March of 2016 the peak of simultaneously playing Steam users online in Dota 2 reached almost 1.3 million. The record of PUBG is still less  – a bit over 1 million users.

Also, PUBG players in total have already spent more than 25 years in the game and the hours are keep on adding up. If you are into the numbers, all players of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds walked about 2.3 billion kilometers. And, finally, the developers have recently called the most skilful shot that was made in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It was made from an impressive distance – the arrow reached the player’s goal being shot from 6766 meters. The records are broken every day – users challenge themselves to sit the longest without movement, they are looking for new features and bugs and post their achievement online. It is easier to become a YouTube or Twitch star if you find new interesting ways to play PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
